About MyShotley.com

As your community website celebrates its second anniversary (December 2006), a group of volunteers has started to review it. But your help is needed!
The site has evolved since the early days of the Parish Plan consultation, into an essential news and information resource for everyone living in this unique community. The 3000 visitors per month use it to get up-to-the-minute village news, a what's on, and comprehensive information about anything you can think of (just visit the A to Z index).

The MyShotley Steering Group is keen to hear any ideas you have for making the site even better. For example, would you like to directly put questions to other local people, or for your club or group to design or publish onto the site?

To tell us what you would like, or to give other feedback, please email info@MyShotley.com. You could send us examples of good ideas from other websites. Please also email if you would like to join the Steering Group.

Based on this, in 2007 the website will be re-launched with a new structure, fresh design and more functionality.

We will report progress through these pages and Noticeboard.

The notes from the first meeting of the Steering Group has more information about the site, and an insight into what the future holds.

MyShotley.com was designed and created by Brigitte Gualde and Jeremy Peters, with the help from other members of the Parish Plan Steering Committee, and the support of Shotley Parish Council. Jeremy is the Editor, and can be contacted at info@MyShotley.com.
