Welcome to the first annual Shotley Business and Information Directory which has been delivered to every household in Shotley, Shotley Gate and Erwarton.

The Directory is a joint collaboration between The Shotley Noticeboard, MyShotley.com, and Personal Papers. It is one of the outcomes from the Shotley Parish Plan, and is intended to encourage use of local services.

The Shotley Noticeboard has been running for over 14 years and publishes items of interest for the two villages, details of local events, Parish Council notes and planning items, contact details for local groups and even letters from the public!

It is delivered free of charge to every household in Shotley and Erwarton six times a year. Published and delivered by volunteers, it is funded by the advertising that it carries and the occasional financial input from Shotley Parish Council.

The official website for Shotley and Erwarton holds everything you need to know about the villages, including all of your services and facilities (police, health, councils, bus times, businesses, etc).

On its hundreds of pages, MyShotley.com features local news and events; details of the Parish Council, job vacancies, developments (Ganges and Marina), weather, music, and over 400 photo-graphs. All sections of the site are constantly updated and increased by local volunteers, and most local organisations are using it to publicise their activities to new, existing and potential members.
