Suffolk County Council (Parish of Shotley) (Various Roads) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and On-Street Parking Places) Order 200- |
In order to improve the flow of traffic on the B1456 Bristol Hill and to improve visibility for motorists at its junctions with various roads along its length, Suffolk County Council proposes to stop vehicles from parking at any time in places on Bristol Hill and to restrict parking on the majority of the western side of the road. Suffolk County Council also intends to formalise parking restrictions on the parking bays that are currently available on Queen Victoria Drive, to allow for enforcement and to ensure that the bays are used properly and appropriately. |
| Although the County Council have not been able to meet our request for a map to post on MyShotley.com, they did send us this information: |
| Note: these proposals for Bristol Hill were rejected by the Parish Council at their meeting on 21 Feb 2008, as they appeared to give little benefit to parishioners, may damage business, and better use could be made of the cost. The proposals for Queen Victoria Drive, however, were supported. |
