Temporary footpath closure, July 2007

Part of footpath 13 at Shotley Marsh Sluice will be closing temporarily between 2 and 29 July to enable repair works to be carried out.

Suffolk County Council is closing Footpath 13, Shotley, on the river wall just south of Footpath 14 at Shotley March Sluice. This is required to enable the Environment Agency to carry out repair works.

During the period of closure the alternative route will be via footpath 15 - B1456 - U41217 Old Hall Lane - RUPP 44 Frogs Alley - Footpath 43 - Footpath 12 and vice versa.

The closure will be between 2 July and 29 July 2007. However, if necesary the closure order may remail in force for 6 months.
