Mini Reunion

Savoy Hotel, Bournemouth.

As usual, we are holding our mini reunion - HMS Ganges Friday While - weekend at the Savoy Hotel, Bournemouth.

This year's 'theme' - as the event is within a few days of WWI Armistice Day - 1100/11/11/1918 - we have chosen 'Shotley 90 years ago'*.

Thus we are searching for appropriate information & memorabilia about HMS Ganges, RNTE Shotley & the Shotely area for around that time frame. E.g. We know that Ganges Boys were making anti-submarine nets for use off shore.

We also know that 1918 was a very bad year for 'Flu & other deathly complaints viz. the graves at Shotley Church.
