Bus shelter news |

The Kingsland bus shelter in Shotley Street was demolished in October 2005 by a car - the driver has since been fined and banned. The Parish Council couldn't act immediately because the information passed on to them by the police was incomplete and it took some time to track down the driver's insurance company. Whilst inquiries were being made, the council decided to rebuild the shelter exactly as it was, rather than opt for a modern glass and steel one.
STOP PRESS 28 Feb! The Shelter has today been completed!
